近來全台各地天氣炎熱，今、明（11、12日）兩日因台灣在暖氣團內，天氣也持續悶熱，西半部最高溫達33、34度。不過，氣象專家吳德榮指出，好天氣只會到周五（12日），本周六（13日）起台灣將逐漸進入梅雨季。
吳德榮表示，鋒面雖於13日下午才抵達，但天氣變化很早就開始，降雨情形將自清晨由北往南擴展，周六至周日（14日）清晨降雨較明顯，周日白天起鋒面結構減弱，降雨稍緩、部分地區有短暫空檔。但下周一（15日）起鋒面結構將逐漸增強、逐步往南移，屆時全台天氣皆會受到影響。
據最新模擬顯示，17日鋒面南移至巴士海峽、各地仍有降雨，18日鋒面北返，19、20日鋒面漸往南、往東移動，已呈現滯留鋒在台灣附近南北徘徊的特徵。雖為第7至10天之模擬有一定不確定性，但中央氣象局與日本皆模擬出滯留鋒南北徘徊的現象。因此，吳德榮認為台灣將於本周六（13日）逐漸進入梅雨季。
吳德榮也提醒，天氣較活躍的一段期間，將伴隨較劇烈的天氣狀況，例如短時間的強降雨、雷擊、強舒適旅店風等，請民眾要留意天氣變化並隨時注意氣象局所發布的特報及提醒。
